Fun Evening
Horadada held another evening fun event last Wednesday and what a great success it was. Over 60 people attended and 56 of them took part in the 12 end rinks competition with a difference 1 wood with the right hand and the other with the left. This produced some very interesting bowling. The eventual winners were Yvonne Hurlock, Bill Reeves, Arthur Brown and Terry Hucknall. The great success of the night though was due to some fantastic food produced by the ladies of our social committee Pauline Murphy, Maureen Semper and Rosemary Guppy ably assisted by Kath Reid, Ann Allen, Val Collier and Diane Collins and a number of other willing helpers. Club captains wife Barbara Brown spent much of her night organising the Target bowls which was won with one magical wood scoring a maximum 10 bowled by Carolyn Bellison’s visiting relation Barbara.
Well done everyone and we look forward to the next one.
